Remember there is no safe amount of alcohol for someone under the age of 18years. Your liver is still young before this age and cannot process alcohol safely. All of the recommendations are for adults only

For a lady - the safe limit is 2-3 units a day

For a man - the safe limit is 3-4 units a day

 

If you take a drug called warfarin to thin your blood - you need to be extra careful about how much alcohol you drink. Alcohol will interfere with you INR levels and it can be dangerous.

 

Drinking alcohol can also put you at an added risk of having palpitations - which are abnormal heart rhthyms.
